Soul Purpose
Carve Your Own Path
I’ve pissed off numerous people
just living my life
:
Not hurting anybody
Not speaking ill of anyone
Not doing anything wrong
But just by being happy and free
while doing all the things in my life to satisfy me
:
Most people around you
have an idea of how your life should be
and what you should do to succeed
:
Honestly most of those ideas are selfish
and inconsiderate of what your soul truly needs
:
They get angered when you go against their will
their ideas of what’s best for you
When you walk a different road through life
than the path they’ve lead you to
and carve your own path
to live your life’s purpose
:
But it’s your life
So go ahead
let people hate you
for living it the way you want to
:
If you live your life walking on
carefully placed eggshells
just to refrain from pissing everybody off
you’ll spend your older gray years
being most pissed off at yourself
:
Pissed off that you listened to everyone else
instead of listening to yourself
For following the dreams of others
instead of forging your own destiny
:
Follow your soul’s true purpose
Only you know what’s best for you

A dead past does not put a halt to a new future. A year later, Kaffy, a highly intelligent, creative, bookish, and preppy Nigerian-Canadian 15-year-old girl was released from juvenile prison. She was arrested and charged with petty theft and assault, and was sentenced to a year in prison. Her sentence was supposed to be 6 months for stealing a lollipop, a chocolate bar, a pack of playing cards, and a bag of Cheeto's cheesies from 7-Eleven, but she received another 6 months for kicking, punching, and hitting another female inmate across the face during an altercation in the canteen.
