Sorry, Forgive Me

Forgive me when I stare past you without a smile

When I look disinterested in what you say

Forgive me when I hold a scowl on my face as you approach

With a deadpan face as you discuss

Forgive me when I roll my eyes at the same old stories and tales

When my eyes wander away from you mid-speech

Forgive me when I am vexed at useless arguments and quarrels

When I snap at people to just f***ing do the right thing

Forgive me when I yawn in long boring meetings

When subjects are rehashed and repeated even though the solution is obvious but ignored awaiting vested interests

For you see I tire of the human capacity for endless, useless talk

Devoid of point, plan, destination, or purpose

I tire of pretenders, onlookers, and ‘camera’ people

Seeking for pictures, talk, gist and gossip with no intent to lend a hand

I tire of endless arguments of how it should have been done, what should have been done and when it should have been done

Useless talkers who slinker away when responsibility comes

Forgive me for I have lots on my mind and need no waste of time

More action and less talk is my new mantra
