Although it may seem wrong to you
Through all these sleepless nights I endure
I can't help but feel the way I do
Her smile is the only cure.
My mind reels with the thoughts
Thoughts that cause me to fade
Though the darkness haunts
She keeps me here to stay.
I try my best to be alive
Though this current holds me down
She's the reason why I strive
To survive in this small town.
You might think I'm crazy because of this
But her love for me is an endless abyss.

CHAPTER 15 I pulled up in front of Sandy’s a little early, so I texted Becca again and left a message for Sharon, hoping she had a good day and I’d see her tomorrow. Two cars pulled into Sandy’s driveway. I don’t know why I was surprised to see another man with her. We’d been apart for two years and I certainly didn’t waste any time getting back on the horse.
