some people only want the good parts
they want the excitement
the goofiness
the chaotic fun times
the whirlwind romance
and unpredictable passion
but what happens when you burn out
you've had a long day
you're stuck in a bad place
and don't want to do anything
you get hit with a bad memory
and struggle to keep it together
the bad days happen
pain sneaks up on you
trauma is always there
but that's inconvenient for some people
they aren't all in
and if they can't be an anchor
or patient
that's when you know it won't work
that's okay
just take that as a sign to move on from them
forever will come along
they'll take the good, the bad, and the ugly
because they resonate with your soul
