Small journey

We walked down the hillside,

Enjoying the intense showers

Crossing the narrow boardwalk,

With a river flowing alongside.

Holding each others hands,

We drenched in the rain,

We had a brolly though,

Never we wanted to use it again.

The dark clouds quickly moved away,

Paving way to a clear blue sky,

Leaving enthralling reflections in our eyes,

We wished to have wings & fly so high.

Soon we arrived to the level land,

Drying out from that scorching heat,

Heading to the restaurant nearby,

Starving we both needed smth to eat.

A journey with people you love most is occasion of making memories.
