You don't need much,
to live a good life that is.
A good life is one that is simple.
It has within it the things needed to sustain happiness, gratitude and compassion.
It is imperfect. It is harsh at times. It is soft and warm and malleable.
The kind of life I speak of has few desires, many loving embraces and deep meaningful connection.
The kind of life I speak of has many laughs and many more smiles. A lack of wrinkles to furrow the brow, but an abundance to crease the edges of the mouth.
Soft hands. Hard times. Loss. Joy. Patience. Confusion.
All the things necessary to enjoy a fruitful life, and maintain that not much more is needed that would add to each days significance.
They are significant in and of themselves.
