Sheep, oh gentle creatures of the field

With wool so soft, and eyes so meek

You graze and wander, with a peaceful ease

A reminder of simplicity and serenity, never to cease

You follow the flock, with a trust so pure

And a docility, that is always sure

You are a symbol of humility and grace

A reminder of the beauty, that is always in place

Sheep, oh gentle creatures of the field

You remind us of the importance of yield

You remind us of the need to follow

And the beauty of simplicity, that is always hallow

In the morning mist, you graze the dew

And in the evening light, you bid adieu

You are a symbol of the natural way

A reminder of the beauty, that is here to stay

Sheep, oh gentle creatures of the field

You remind us of the beauty, that is never concealed

You remind us of the importance of simplicity

And the serenity, that is always within our ability.
