She Gives Herself to You

Women don’t give themselves freely.

They need to trust you.

That you will give them love and compassion.

To a woman a man isn’t a knight in shining armor,

but instead a partner.

One who will never cross those lines,

the few boundaries she lays out for you

in the beginning of it all.

She trusts you when you say she’s the one.

She trusts you when you say you won’t hurt her.

So, she takes off her clothes and bares herself to you.

She allows you to place your hands upon her body,

a temple to her.

She allows you to penetrate her,

hoping you will penetrate her soul.

Women don’t give themselves freely

and they trust you won’t break their hearts.

They hold on to the past,

but don’t apply that shit to you.

They trust you; you are brand new.

You are not her ex, or any before him.

You are a new opportunity at finding true love.

She does not give herself easily to you.

She only asks that you don’t break her trust.

But, of course, for many of you that is asking too much.

Most of you will make your promises,

not willing to understand what you do.

The bonds she creates when she bares herself to you.

Many of you will break her heart willingly,

deplete her soul,

violate her temple.

Many of you don’t even understand what I am saying,

because many of you are not real men.
