all that is blue covered in glistening gleam radiating esteem
celestial prayers to heal
seeing you in waves of salt,
overflowing.
there are parts now, always geared for war,
it was the before and after; after you.
trying to steer to the side that eagerly loves,
which is effortless but increasingly rare,
to cease judgment present yourself bare;
that was then - this is now.
let stillness be the consequence for fragile roots,
soggy in misery, wreaking of deceit;
may their decaying ego rot on the banks of injustice,
for even attempting to violate such saintly seas,
there is no justice,
she died where she slept.
- for another angel, slain by blue. her name is Breonna Taylor.
