I can't leave

You are here; he is there.

Though you can go anywhere, you don't.

For you are here,

And he is there.

You look around; there is so much.

But all you see is him and you.

For you are here, and he is there.

It's just a step, and you'll be out.

Nothing holds you, but you can't leave.

For you are here, and he is there.

So you stay, though you should leave.

For you think he's all there is.

You are here, and he is there.

He's never here,

And you're always there.

You wish he were here,

But he is there.

You have the key.

You see the door.

But you can't leave.

For you are here, and he is still there.
