A vibrant colored soldier treks upon his trail,
to reach his destination shrouded in memories veil.
He took the path once a long time ago,
in order to have a chance to prosper and grow.
Upon finishing his first mission he decided to return,
with belly so full; he had plenty to burn.
Pushing ahead with his platoon in tow,
following their memories to where they must go.
Battling beasts and nature alike,
never stopping on this arduous hike.
Climbing up mountains and rising after falls,
marching along as they finish their calls.
Destination in sight they file off into pairs,
laying the foundation for their soon to be heirs.

Eclipse’s Visit
Everywhere it is dark, the sun goes on a trip, Creating chaos, making folks flip. Lunatics howl and claim it's the end, In reality, it's just a cosmic trend. People gather, their eyes to the sky, Solar glasses on, ready to spy. Even the birds seem a bit perplexed, Squirrels run around, feeling vexed.

Stuck in Place
Amy whistled as she walked through her front yard, looking for any sticks she could pick up and throw into the pile she and her brother were making. They had a big windstorm recently; as such, all the trees in their yard had suffered some damage in some loss of sticks. Or perhaps losing those sticks was a good thing since their trees probably needed to be pruned anyway. Amy wasn't sure.
