Don’t

Don’t make me foggy, don’t make me drowsy,

Don’t make me anything that I don’t want to be.

Don’t make me numb.

Don’t make me dumb.

Don’t.

Make.

Me.

Numb.

Cause truth is

I’m better off without you

But too much for others that I don’t know how to

Don’t know how to deal

Don’t know how to cope

Don’t know what’s going on inside

Cause I don’t know myself

Don’t

Don’t force them down my throat

Don’t force them down my throat

They calm me down

But they don’t

remove me

from the environment

that made me this way

They just take my brain away from the equation

The only math I care about

Putting the lost pieces back together

Don’t

Don’t remember the abuse,

don’t remember

Don’t

Cause it didn’t happen

But I know better

Especially

When I’m not on 200mg a day.

Zombie

Like the rest of the world
