Understand that your spouse-to-be will evolve,

He or she is kind of like a mystery to solve.

Some days you might be at each other’s throats,

Other days you will be reading each other’s love notes.

Marriage is truly about commitment and trust,

If these two things fall away, then it makes way for lust.

Wedding vows should be taken seriously,

Too many marriages have dissolved notoriously.

Many a child has suffered from his parents’ mistakes,

Far too many families fall and crumble for goodness-sake's!

At least give marriage counseling a shot,
