Jobs are such a drag
Do what you love and you won't work a day
But what if what I love doesn't pay
What if I just want to play all day
~
Now don't get me wrong
I can be responsible too
But the fact that I need greenbacks to live
Makes me pretty blue
~
I love to write
And take care of my family
Neither of those pay yet though
At least not in money
~
But what they do pay
Is something money can't buy
A form of serenity that's hard to come by
Jobs are such a drag
~
I have a job interview soon and it's my first real one in something like 13 years. Terrified I tell you. I'm going to be writing a piece for a collab soon on anxiety and I'm in such a great spot for it. Because mine is skyrocketing. I hope you enjoyed this rambling.
