I was yours.

Why do I wear this ring? That stains my skin. Leaves me wanting something I cannot have.

It’s silver, raindrop diamond that shines a white gold. It lights up when I feel cold.

It gives me memories, of me and you. That car, rain falling under the roof. Our kisses, that left me moaning still.

You left me, but I still think of you. Now I’m selfish, Now I’m lonely, Now I’m stupid. I can’t stop wearing a piece of you.

I’m your raindrop, that you got sick of. You went chasing the sunshine. All I was, wasn’t enough. Just blue.
