Driving down the road in the middle of the night,

Radio wasteland in my heart,

No tune is good, no lyric is right,

I feel like my satellite is breaking apart,

Some far away satellite is breaking apart.

***

Living was hard before the fight,

I’ve headed out to make a brand new start.

Nothing I can do will make it all right,

I’ve got to keep my whys and my wherefores in sight,

Got to keep solutions to the problem in sight.

***

Raindrops are slamming the windshield hard,

Rain on the inside and rain on the out,

Moon is coming up in the rear view mirror,

Things will get better without a doubt.

Things have to get better, there is no doubt.

***

Driving down the road in the middle of the night,

Radio wasteland in my heart,

No tune is good, no lyric is right,

I feel like my satellite is breaking apart,

Some far away satellite is breaking apart.

******

Thanks for reading my words, maybe you have a tune for them. NW
