Is this what they mean by golden hour?

This poem was one I created (not surprisingly) at golden hour, with the intent of eventually turning it into a song.

We were practicing magic as the sun went down

The light playing tricks around your pupils, oh

I'll never forget that glow

As smoke rose from our wishes

Sweet as kisses and enveloping the evening -

Is this what they mean by golden hour?

Was it never about the sun,

But of what the sun does to eyes like yours?

I'm enamored, i'm in love

And this is how stories are spun -

Don't meet me at midnight

Let's glow in the daylight -
