Restful Sleep

Father,

Protect her from the murky stain of the world,

through her, shine light, such as a stained glass window whirled.

Protect her from mongrels and those who are deceptive,

or, if they do happen to chance her way, show how to be perceptive.

Protect her from the filthy hand of the enemy,

for she has been given a shrewd mind that acts sensibly.

Protect her from all lies that pierce through the dark nights,

for she has been accepted as a child of the king of lights.

Please give her the gift of restful sleep,

so that it makes it easier for herself to upkeep.

For her rarely does sleep come easy,

but for you to bring, it is quite breezy.

I trust in you and that you will protect her to the end,

your angelic guardians you may even send.

Bless her in every shape and form,

so that none will ever look upon her with scorn.

Encourage her to be bolder than ever,

and bless her every endeavor.

Or, at least those that goals that which you have called her to,

whatever you teach her to pursue.
