Prayer to the Cedar Tree

Oh great tree of the world, lay your branches upon me

Purify my heart so I may hear the message from within

Calm my mind and rid me of inconstant thoughts

Oh great Cedar, fill the air with your pleasant aroma

Allow me to bend like the bough that never breaks

Let me feel the healing of your blessed touch

You are the doorway to the higher realms

let me walk through and when I return

may I bring back hope for this world.

You are the presence in my guiding path

Bringing wisdom to the furtive mind

Let me remember all that is past

And for the future, a way, we will find

I sit daily while centering my being

Remembering all who needs a helping hand

May my focus be on the world we are freeing

Open the hearts, Onespirit for all mankind

Let me use the many prayers of the world

Let me use the beat in the tapestry of life

Let me feel the spirit as my heart is unfurled

Let me take away the feeling of strife

I promise that all the knowledge I have gained

Will be used for the betterment of all

May my resolve never wander or wan

And my spiritual strength never fall

Oh Cedar you stir up my strength, my passion, my fervour

You carry the weight for me to walk true

In dark moments, I need not look further

Your light will always shine through

Blessing be to all that walk this great journey

Blessings to the world as we wander and meet

Peace to all, as all are deemed worthy

I bring love and lay it at your feet
