Prayer to Persephone
Prayer to the queen of the underworld.
Persephone, mother most loving, sweet, and merciful, guide me through this wiccan path. Remind me that the greatest law is to harm none during magic and to only do what is beneficial for myself and others. Teach me to use careful consideration and intent while performing gray magic. Let me feel your presence and show me the way to go when I need guidance. Teach me the lessons needed to learn when I fail and remind me to only do what is good. Grant me wisdom, strength, and self love. Bless me when I do good and disapline me when I do wrong. Teach me that the greatest gift to give to all is love, honesty, and equality. Teach me to treat all people equal whether I love or despise them. Teach me to control my temper and hold my tongue in order to keep from harming others.
Blessed Persephone, goddess of nature, please be here by my side and guide me now and in my further days and in my next life. Blessed be!

Aphrodite, mother of Cupid, love of ares, I ask you to be here near me until my death. Guide me in times of need. Protect me when I'm in danger. Teach me that the greatest gift is love. Help me to have self love and to love others. Guide me on the wiccan path and help me find true love. Remind me of the law harm none. Teach me the lessons life has to teach me so that I can flourish and do your will. Goddess of love, beauty, and procreation, help me to find my true love. Help me to let go of my past and the hurt it caused me so I can move on and find new love. Help those that have put me through pain to learn there lessons and one day also find love.

A CLOSE ENCOUNTER
Stars twinkled brightly in a moonless sky, reflecting in the calm waters of Lake George in the Adirondack mountains of upstate New York. It was a warm August night, as we laid back in the boat, marveling at the magnificent Milky Way. Dark skies made the stars more brilliant at this time of year, especially during a new moon, causing wonder and enchantment. We never tired of stargazing while floating on water, a truly immersive experience.
