Journey to God as he is journeying to you

Praise and prayers

I praise the Lord and all his glory

Praise in my prayers, behold the story

I was shackled and shaken

Bullied and broken

Removed and discarded

Then I was woken

The nightmare was done

And then became light

A new spell was cast

It ended the fright

A new day had dawned

It was clear and so bright

There was joy and unity

I was high as a kite

The love grew so strong

From the freedom and smiles

The leaves danced around

They landed in piles

The trees that gave birth

To the leaves who left

Were mighty and wise

No need to be bereft

As the child leaves God

God still holds you dear

You may not know it

Because you live in fear

Escape this hostile world

And come back to me

You left without knowing

You are my destiny

Your the place to where I am going

Your the thought in my mind

My heart will do the guiding

And it is you, I find
