Life is not yours or mine to take.
We should not have that power.
The feeling of loneliness can be bandaged by a shower.
Water hitting your face helps your mind to shortly escape.
The voices in your head are not what you think.
When these demons arrive, you must know what to do.
Stand strong and emphasize what you will not do.
If the demons have come to take all your power,
Know that you carry something of value.
Fight this battle until you know you’ve won,
But beware that this war has only begun.
The enemy does not stop.
Just takes breaks.
But now you know, you have the power it takes.

Just Sixty Seconds
Oliver sat at a cold, grey steel-covered table. He knew he was next. The longer he sat here, the more confident he knew he wouldn’t make it. His hands were tied to the chair he was sitting on, pushed up against the steel table. A small camera in the corner of the ceiling with a tiny red flashing light was the only thing he was focused on. He felt sick to the stomach. He knew he didn’t have long.
