Pouring Out The Stars

Moonlight kissing my skin

through the window, the gentle

rustle of wind chimes a graceful

melody to a counterpoint of

rustling leaves.

Perfumed rooms and emotions

boiling beyond the point where

I can no longer hide them, the

words hanging in the air

like petrichor before rain.

My heart cracked open, I

long to share the passionate

ache of poetry you awakened

in my veins through touch

and passions storm.

I do not want to hold back,

you wiped the fear away and

replaced it with trust, you

overwhelmed my senses

with an unquenchable throb.

Is it possible you feel me

flowing through the essence

of you in such an inexplicable

way, embrace the magic

within, never deny ecstasy.

Let the cacophony of the world

fade away, each brush of our

lips pouring out the stars,

shadows merging into one,

invulnerable frisson.

Fast-moving melancholy

descended like darkness,

I ask you for nothing accept to be

supported, valued, cherished,

loved –
