Pondering —
“Gravity,” and its name.
Something is “grave” when it’s heavy,
And this weight is too much.
*
Pulling me!
All that is grave.
*
Like gravity —
Downward.
Into holes —
Deep in the ground.
*
Craving—
The soft and willowy strength
Of water.
*
Needing —
To be pulled outward,
Stretched with the wind and currents.
Where gravity is still present
But dispersed on the waves.
*
Release me!
Please.
*
Let me be free —
From the compression
Between weight and ground.
*
Grave it is —
This need of mine.
To be free —
Of Gravity.
