A compilation of short unnamed poems found in my notes app :)

loving you was the easiest thing that I’ve done

you were not hard to love.

it came natural, as if i was born to do it

my heart, so full of love for you

its all i can feel.

pure. unconditional love

loving you was not hard.

being unable to love you was impossible.

wanting to be in love so badly

i convinced my heart i could taste it on your lips

but all there to taste was the false hope

and bitter desperation.

forever wishing it would be you

writing in my journal

planning our future

forever waiting for you

putting all of my time into you

until I realized,

you never wanted it to be me.

oh, to be wanted.

what must that feel like-?

to be so engrossed, so encapsulated

that you feel like youre unable to breathe.

you wont be coming back,

and im trying to find a way to live with that.

ive always had trouble of seeing my worth

i never realized how beautiful i was, catching the sight of my reflection

my mirrored self asking for a kiss, asking to be loved

i never realized that self worth

isnt found in others

yet in yourself.

“ i will never fall in love” i would say,

I believed it was a sign of weakness, vulnerablity i would never let show.

love was always an emotion i ran from, it was a cringe disgusting emotion.

but then i met you.

the person who made me realize i was always weak, vulnerable,

and full of emotions

you taught me it was okay not to hide it.
