POETRY

Poetry is the language of the soul.

Otherworldly yet gentle to the eyes,

Entertaining yet conscious of its purpose,

Its resolve questions millennia of battles.

Poetry is more than the sum of its parts.

In fact, those who can only write feet and rhymes

Do not understand what lies beyond

Its endless dazzling promises.

Poetry is beauty in written form.

The beholder may see but not fathom

The diversity of its hidden visions,

Like an ocean of open creation.

Poetry is all those things and more.

Its essence lies in indefinable instants,

At the centre of mystical matter,

And within the wordless purity of tomorrow.

So, become a poetic messenger,

And let Spirit shine through you.
