The country glows
Animals burnt to their toes
He says it’s natural, looking down his nose.
Family homes torn apart
Memories left in the dark
Beside his wife and kids for Hawaii they embark.
Firefighters dying behind their hose
Off the peoples’ back come their clothes
We did not choose him as our leader, it really shows
In a crisis true colours shine
And we will all be fine
Without him and his coal mines.
So listen now Great Scott
A leader, you are not
Walk away before the country is forgot.
For long after this demise
At the end of all our cries
Together from the ashes, we will rise.
