Please Stay. Don't Leave.
The ups and downs of life are the for certains of the world.
Eventually, you will learn to surf the twisted waves.
Those waves that have taunted you all your life,
And beat you to the bottom of the sea;
To the point that air felt like a luxury
Your body refused to accept.
In those moments, when your eyes go black with fear,
And you find yourself begging for the end to be near
Please, hold on.
Tie yourself to your sheets and listen to me:
You are loved, you are needed, you are wanted,
And you have every right to a happy life.
So please, hold on.
Life's a ride and it's sick and twisted.
So you may as well safely risk it.
Dream bigger dreams than you ever dared entertain before.
Love harder, even when your heart feels torn.
And when the falls come, as they always do,
Remember that it's okay to feel lost in those moments too.
But please stay.
Don't leave.
My heart goes out to you in your misery.
And I hope you believe me when I say,
With every ounce of my soul,
That we, and your future, need you to stay.
So please, don't leave.
