Of Mother Russia.

Iron cast

Soviet shadow

Lingering, hungover with

Golden sickness

And their diggers.

Governmental gangsters

In armoured suits,

Clinging to a past

Save it for the ballet.

Twirls of tragedy

Bonfires and carols

Honour and morale

Victories gained,

Lives lost,

Somber is the sovereign

Drenched in genocide.

Mothers should bridge continents

And yet the lines are drawn

With the gate the Father keeps

Separating West from East.

Twisted lies and

Cruel tricks

A horror - a terror

Why did it have to come to this?

How can you sleep, Mr Putin?

Does it keep you awake?

Knowing that we

Plant the sunflower seeds

They will still grow in hellfire.

Burning bridges light the way

As we stand in solidarity

With Ukraine.
