Personal Accountability
When Truth Is Absolute
To accept one's faults
To own one's wrongs
To admit your choices are the reason things have gone wrong
*
This is the part, the beginning of
One who is learning how to properly love
*
First, begins admission of guilt
Contrition, confession, and correction rebuilt
*
A rare characteristic
A strong attribute
A character building trait that becomes absolute
*
Who can you rely on?
Who can you trust?
Who is willing to admit flaws and deny lusts?
*
Quite amazing is that person
Who admits what they’ve done instead of call out a diversion
*
Who keeps their promises in the face of all dangers?
And is not susceptible to convenient favors?
*
Is there someone that you know?
Whose conscience is one that continually grows?
*
On whose faithfulness and dependability can you rely?
On whose word and honor can you not deny?
On whose moral foundations can you continue to build?
*
One who is patient
One who is kind
One who is steadfast and loving to humankind
*
We are accountable for our mistakes
We are more than obligated to do what it takes
We are to make amends, correct our lies, trust in truth and there rely
*
How do we correct and mend it?
Be someone beyond sorry, and work to end it.
*
Strive to be one without hypocrisy
A pinnacle of truth and honesty
*
Can you imagine the certainty?
The self-assurance, the reliance, the surety?
*
What a world we would live in, if then
On everyone's word we could depend.
