PAIN

She sits there in pain, both physical and emotional

She knows how to fix it but can bring herself to do it

Anyone else would do it, anyone else would be scared

Scared of what this neglect could turn into

Not her, she likes this pain, she likes to believe it could all end

I blame her and hate her and love her at the same time

Her brain is split in two

So, she never knows what to do

All she knows is that this suffering feels necessary

Deserved even

She decides to do nothing, she decides to let it all go

Until of course she remembers that she is not alone

She remembers those who lover her and who will suffer

So, she keeps pushing on and starts to look after herself

But this only lasts for some time and soon again she finds herself
