Overwhelm Me

This emotion, it overwhelms me
There’s a vision I see; it’s of the future I would like to make.
The clouds they come over me, they colour the skies in shades of grey.
It begins to rain - it’s raining.
There’s nothing to worry about I say,
as I’m saying all the things I’m worried about - I’m suffering.
There’s work and other types of work -
I’ll be fine...
I am laying on my bedroom floor, thinking of anything and everything.
This world, this life, me.
It all overwhelms me.
Well, it’s probably best I rest my head and my heart now because both are heavy and I just need a fresh start.
