Overcoming Loneliness During Winter Power Outages

My Little Suggestions

Sit in your favorite chair or anywhere.

With a flashlight.

With a lantern.

With a candle.

As the Christophers and the Chinese Proverb states:

It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.

Do you get bored?

Be prepared to get loneliness off of your mind.

Coloring books. Crafts.

Food already prepared.

Bottled water and water enhancer.

Battery-operated radio.

Still have yours too?

Meditate. Take deep breaths.

Get out that mental toolbox.

If you lay down and cannot rest,

Don’t just lay there!

Make sure you have a copy of this list,

And get up!

I am not the best at poetry,

But I want you to cope during this winter season.

I have been there.
