and we found solace in the night sky
The moon's mysterious glow
possessed a power to free us from
the shackles of our troubles.
One drop of you was enough
to intoxicate my lungs.
One kiss was enough
to take away my breath
And I would die a hundred times
reborn as the moon herself
but I was envious of the sun,
for she is admired in the day,
and I am only admired by you in the night.
