They represent

The red, white, and blue

They stand before our flag

As they salute

No one will understand the bravery it takes

No one will know the sacrifices they make

They stand before our country

And protect us from harms way

They do whatever it takes

To keep us safe

We must honor them

The millions of brave men and women

Who serve our country

Many of whom did not return

They risk their lives to keep us safe

And protect us from wars and outbreaks

No one will understand the bravery it takes

No one will know the sacrifices they make

Saying goodbye to those they love

Knowing deep down inside them

Of possibly never returning back home

They are our heroes

They represent freedom, hope, and love

How can we ever thank them enough

For all that they do

Show our gratitude to them and their families

They represent

The red, white, stars, and blue

They stand before our country

They stand before the people

They are truly

Our American Heroes
