Feelings fragile as crystal glass,

Handle with gentle hands, not crass,

Tender hearts can easily break,

Handle with care, for goodness sake.

Friendships once strong and true,

Now shattered, broken, askew,

Some beyond the point of repair,

Lost to time, distant despair.

Words spoken in anger and haste,

Can leave wounds that forever chafe,

Careless actions, misguided intent,

Can destroy bonds so innocent.

So handle feelings with utmost care,

And nurture friendships, always aware,

That they're precious gifts, rare and few,

To cherish, honor, and hold on to.
