The only ONE for me

You told me there would be plenty of difficult times in my life

But I neglected your words of enlightenment

So, I guess I had to learn the hard way But why did you choose today?

I have been abused and misused all my life

There were times where I wanted to end it all But you said that; that would be a huge mistake

You said I would go to hell

Through all of these things, I am going to tell you, lord

That I have remained a good man

When I was younger, women tried to play me like I was a toy

Through it all, I still have respect for women People want to fight me or wanted me to fight them But you told me that inflicting pain on others was wrong

So, I didn't

I can tell you this I have had my share of ups and downs

Thave grown into a great man, and I know you are looking down on me with a smile, yes, I do

understand

That you were telling me to make the right decision or pay like the others on judgment day

So, I decide to let you mold me into the man you made me be.
