It's amazing how one person
can change how you experience the world
How one person can take your life
and flip it upside down
Leaving you exposed to the true nature of humans
Allowing you to turn raw and bare into the wind
Yet, you are just a shadow over everything
Because you are floating,
Floating higher than anyone can reach
Held only by two strong hands
Bare, raw, exposed to the beauty and pain of life
But held,
Held tight
away from where anything can reach you
You fly above pain
above fear
above turmoil
above everyone's heads
It's amazing
It's amazing how one person
can affect so much.

Just Sixty Seconds
Oliver sat at a cold, grey steel-covered table. He knew he was next. The longer he sat here, the more confident he knew he wouldn’t make it. His hands were tied to the chair he was sitting on, pushed up against the steel table. A small camera in the corner of the ceiling with a tiny red flashing light was the only thing he was focused on. He felt sick to the stomach. He knew he didn’t have long.
