One in the Same Now

A Poem

Forgive me Father,

For everyone tells me

That I have sinned

My mind takes me places

Places everyone has visited before

But makes me feel like the only one

I can’t sleep anymore

Your conscious talks to me at night

Deprives me of any sort of feeling

My jaw won’t open

Because when I speak

Sirens blare, but only I can hear them

I’m in Atlantis

Sweet symphony can walk

We dance, they drown, same difference

Forgive me Father,

For everyone tells me

That we have sinned
