A look at the Chesapeake Bay

Looking out to sea,

Filled with glee,

As you look out from Hampton Roads,

The rivers there,

James,

Elizabeth,

Nansemond,

All meet here,

The waters I hope are clear,

A sailor’s paradise,

Fishing,

Sailing,

Sitting on the beach,

There is always fun,

Which is within reach,

Ships and boats,

Dot the ports,

With their brightly colored sails,

One beautiful boat,

Sailing on a large scale,

Each sunrise,

Gives more beauty,

To be seen by your eyes,

The waters you hope are calm,

Just like a healing balm,

If you come,

Enjoy your stay,

Right here,

On the lovely Chesapeake Bay.
