Oh, Spring!

So Small but So Big

Oh, Spring!

Would you look at the flowers in bloom,

Would you look at the trees that grow.

Almost as beautiful as a bride and her groom,

While they dance slow.

The birds chirping,

The bees humming,

The children slurping.

This means spring is coming!

From seeing the world fast asleep,

To seeing it come alive.

It is like taking a giant leap,

When everything begins to thrive.

Spring brings many wonderful things,

Some that people may not see.

Butterflies begin to spread their wings

Flying around all beautiful and free.

Spring can come with many emotions,

Such as joy or peace.

The peacefulness of oceans,

The joy from a niece.

Streams begin to flow,

Sunsets become more bright.

The winds begin to blow,

While campfires bring more light.

Oh, Spring,

How you are loved.

You are not just some fling,

You will never be shoved!
