Ode to Freedom

Russian troops perch along

Urkraine’s border

like they’re JAGUARS

poised over prey

Pouncing on global cognition

as carnage of soldiers unfold

How easily forgotten a dictator

Freedom is for the bold

Let the stalks of sunflowers

lay down like barrels

URKAINE will not fold

Where seedlings rest

in un-pressed regulation pockets

The farmer ran away

with the armored tank-

The bombs bursting out of thin air like

gulping, grievances, gorily

Gave proof that our flag, drapes one’s self

Let golden petals fall where they may

We’re still here

liberty without hindrance

Luck will smile on us, without restraint

WORDS are worth a thousand smiles

so speak with pre·rog·a·tive

Enemies will parish,

keeping scopes of friends close

Many flood the streets

against the aggressors motherland

purely in protest-

Enemies in closer range are aware

PUTIN is a global bully

ruling in fear, oppression, violence

As dew does in sunshine,

PUTIN don’t blow sunshine up our asses

Be the ray of sunshine Ukraine

Not all living with this oppression

offer the ember of authoritarian beliefs

They're making spark fly

OUT of outdated belief systems

stoking this regime;

Not a spark of decency-

Collectively using an ember

spark off a revolution indirectly

greatest risk to freedom's personal safety

imprisonment, brutality, prosecution

Evils will not prevail

In the name of freedom;

STANDUP not standby

letting voices be snuffed out

SPEAK OUT for those unable,

freedom refuses to be stifled

Complacency doesn’t end wars

Plant the seed of freedom for all
