Obsession

Blurring the Mind

Something I have noticed, in more recent terms, about how society is becoming more and more obsessed.

We fixate on particular parts of traditions and blow them up or blow them out. We either decimate or decorate.

We have torn down evidence and truth while we built up false ideologies and analogies.

We surround ourselves with the land of fantasy and indulgence while we cry for a better world.

The obsession to blame everyone else but be the victim; to long to be the hero but accept blindly and follow in the crowd. Fish. Sheep. Lemurs.

We have driven ourselves so deep into the pit of the fantastic that we have forgotten that reality and mentality are not the same.

We cannot build building with just our minds, we cannot just change society without repercussions.

We are force fed that the spirtual and the scientific are not aligned. We are told we are independent but we are chained to the authority that is a governing source.

We say we're free but all there are the shackles of lies and manipulations. Obsession has blinded us from being truly free.

This nagging, biting, gnawing feeling that we are in control and have all the power is an illusion that is cast by those with the real power.

This feeling that we are superb in all ways. This feeling of superiority when reality is we are deteriorating and becoming vastly inferior.

The obsession with the porcelain exterior while the interior is rotting and full of filth.

The obsession for image over internal morals and quality.

The way the world spins is by the desires of those who seek only for themselves. The greedy.

Far too long we have lived in the shadows, hidden away by fear and a longing to be the ones who are 'right'.

Far too long we have stood divide by the shadows behind us that keep us rushing forward without thinking.

The obsession of fear has ruled the mind for too long.

It has eaten away the very courage that was bestowed upon us at our birth.

A nation rotting in the shadows...the golden age long passed.

Obsession for the dominance of the world has changed us into the slave.

We are no longer free; but shackled and sold...

Obsession has ruined many things...
