Save Our Love

It has been far too long since I have seen love

I may not have you, but I am yours

I have not seen the world from above

But have seen through cracks in the doors.

I know my heart calls to two

Perhaps it is just lost in love

But there is none like you

And you are what my heart consists of

Love has not eluded me

Nor has it you

Just come to the shore of the sea

And you’ll find your way through

Just stay with me for one more night

Perhaps we could be rekindled

Let’s forget all of our fright

Then maybe we won’t dwindle

Let’s stop all of time

Just so you can be mine

It’s never too late to try

Never too late to fail

Though I make you cry

Just look for my trail.

Never too late to say sorry

Never too late to start again

Let the night be starry

Let us wipe away the pain.
