He sits in silence as his soul screams from the darkness
Trying to find the light but every stepping stone seems spark-less
Every broken love felt with a sharpness
There's no longer a beat in his chest, if it's as he has become heartless
He sits and wonders what has he become
Is this the end, is he finally done
Should he give up, have the demons won
He asks all these questions but receives answers to none
Stuck in a space between love and hate
He sits in hunger, with nothing left on his plate
his mind a prison his heart the inmate
he knows he must escape this eternal state
but he no longer asks how, now he's stuck on the why
Feelings of deep depression beginning to intensify
with no tears falling because his eyes are dry
He collects all of his memories so he can say his goodbyes
It's at this time during his recollection
He sees his whole life and takes a closer inspection
At all the joys hes experienced next to all the rejections
He looks up at the mirror to find a slight smile in the reflection
All he can see is his family and friends
Even when he felt alone they were there, beginning to end
From his head to his heart the blood began to ascend
warming his soul as the darkness began to transcend
He's accomplished a lot it's been a hell of a ride
Joy's and sorrows far from side by side
The amount of pain couldn't catch all his smiles, even if it tried
No longer sitting he stands on his feet, not today, not ever, that's a big no to suicide!
