When life

knocks the wind

out of you—

Choke up on the bat,

keep peepers

on the ball “ting”

RUN

When anger

cast the largest shadow

let yourself plummet

No matter

how tight a grip,

you’ve got

a wishbone still breaks

like wishful thinking

continuity beating you up-

Till,

scrapes of brusque

bust open modest lips

closes off communication

DAZZLING

pearly whites

leave passionate marks

on an amorous lovers neck—

Flattering words stall,

peeling away intrusive thoughts

as apple cider glossed lips,

NEUTRALIZE

the venom of indecisiveness

I am no queen bee,

as sting of words

lack satisfaction

of my sharp tongue

I don’t yield

living through frigid winters

I am a queen wasp

daydreaming out in left field

a meadow without flowers

more like a grassy knoll

my airway closes,

as I am allergic to bullshit
