Life is a river, ever-flowing,

Never pausing, always growing.

With twists and turns and rocky shores,

It carries us to where it roars.

Like a ship upon the sea,

We navigate the currents free.

Sometimes calm, sometimes rough,

We must be strong and stay enough.

The sun is a guiding light,

Guiding us through the darkest night.

With warmth and hope it shines,

Giving us strength to climb.

Love is a rose, with thorns and all,

Beautiful and fragile, yet standing tall.

It blooms with passion and care,

And blossoms in the warmth of a loving stare.

Time is a clock, ticking away,

Reminding us of what we must pay.

For every moment, every breath,

It marches on, without a death.

So let us make the most of each day,

With love and hope and a willing way.

For life is a river, ever-flowing,

And we are but ships, on its waters rowing
