Nature Wonder

A Poem by Charlotte Fay

I see the way you look in awe

But what if all this was no more

I see the way you look in wonder

To see your brain all a ponder

I see the way you stop and stare

You look at nature with loving care

I see the way you love to explore

Mother Nature seeps into your core

I see the way you don’t hesitate

To roam around it’s not too late

I see the way you cock your head

Amazed that leaves could be so red

I see you in your happy place

Peace and smiles all over your face

I see you when you say your goodbyes

The tears swell in your four year old eyes
