My Greatest Fear

Fear of love

I'm scared of spiders

And things that crawl

But my greatest fear

Is for love I should fall

For my heart to beat

As fast as light

For my cheeks to blush

When you're in my sight

For my skin to tingle

From your touch

For my soul to ache

From missing you so much

For the words unspoken

When I have nothing to say

By every word spoken from your lips

My breath is taken away

Falling in love is easy

But that's what causes fear

The easier the fall, the harder the crash

Then everything will disappear

No longer do you feel the tingles

When you feel the slightest touch

The memories of happiness are gone

All wasted and turned to mush

I am scared of spiders

And all things that crawl

But my greatest fear

Is for love I should fall
