She wears a glowing crown of auburn mystery as she transforms teaching and surreptitiously devours praline ice cream. She has had students march to mathematic times tables on the track; eagerly hanging a golden glowing lantern Sun for all to see.

Be glad of her scientific, magnetizing nature because she cares quietly. You should feel honored to learn from Ms. Garcia. Each moment in time is hers to tell you about; recounting our History as if she lived in those moments. Go West.

Blazing, bright and happy blue waves smile in unison for this lovely friend of mine. She presses emerald seaweed onto the sparkling white sand. Hold onto this fabulous offering.

About the Creator

Raissa Dassel

I have been a poet since my childhood. It peaked during my misunderstood teens and now again in my 50th year of life. It would be an honor to have people respond to my thoughts. I played the piano as a child, too. It is a beautiful life.
